St. Theodore’s Brotherhood exists to unite Orthodox Christians serving in the United States Armed Forces through faith, brotherhood, and service.

Why St. Theodore?

St. Theodore is remembered as a soldier and martyr of the Orthodox Church. His witness reminds us that courage, obedience, sacrifice, and faith are not separate virtues. They belong together.
This brotherhood exists for Orthodox Christians who serve in uniform, those preparing to serve, veterans, and families carrying the weight of military life.
Military life often separates service members from their parish, their priest, and the sacramental life of the Church. Deployments, training, permanent change of station, ship life, and long periods away from home can leave even faithful people spiritually isolated.
Our mission is simple:
No Orthodox service member should be alone, unknown, or disconnected from the life of the Church.
Through prayer, brotherhood, mentorship, local parishes, Orthodox clergy, and faithful volunteers, we seek to build a lifelong network that walks beside every Orthodox Christian who wears the uniform.
